1. BSNL join hands with PNB, launches mobile wallet Speedpay:


State - run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has tied up with Punjab National Bank ( PNB) to roll out open mobile wallet Speedpay across 10 states in the country. "SpeedPay" is an Open Loop Prepaid wallet which allows users to withdraw money from authorized retail points. It also enables users to make domestic money transfer, cash deposits/ withdrawals at authorized SpeedPay agents, prepaid mobile & DTH recharge, purchase of bus tickets, pay Insurance Premiums, post-paid bill payments, Credit Card bill payments, Electricity Bill payments etc. and more.




2. 5 Indian-Americans among 2017 politico 50 list:
Five Indian-Americans, including four women, have figured in the 2017 Politico 50 list for their note-worthy contributions in the US politics. Led by US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, the list also comprises Seema Verma who heads a top health care position in the Trump administration, lawyer Neal Katyal, economist Aparna Mathur and lawyer Neomi Rao.

3. No fly list: Now, flight passengers can face 3 months to 2 years ban for unruly behaviour:

Civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju announced a No fly list and said punishment for unruly flyers will be between three months and two years or more. There are different punishments depending on the severity of the offence.
1. Level 1 - Unruly physical gestures, verbal harassment and unruly inebriation fall under this category. The punishment for offenders will be a ban up to 3 months.
2. Level 2 - Physically abusive behaviour (pushing, kicking, hitting or inappropriate touching)fall under this category. The punishment for offenders will be a ban of up to 6 months.
3. Level 3 - Life threatening (assaults, damage to aircraft systems etc) fall under this category. The punishment for offenders will be a ban of minimum 2 years.
